The Toronto International Film Festival has announced Canada’s Top 10 films of 2019.

The annual list denotes the best in Canadian film, featuring both established filmmakers and brand-new voices of cinema.

Female directors are well-represented on the list which includes both English and French-language feature films and shorts, many of which screened during the festival in September.
