Liam Payne On Harry Styles: ‘There’s So Much Mystery Around Who He’s Become’

Liam Payne can’t quite put his finger on the person Harry Styles has become.

Payne dishes on his former One Direction cohort in a new interview for The Face magazine, which hits stands on Dec. 12. Payne, 26, admits he is surprised by the metamorphosis of Harry’s style.

“There’s so much mystery around who he’s become,” Payne says. “I was looking at some pictures of him the other day, and I just thought: ‘I don’t know what more I’d say to him other than, ‘Hello’ and ‘How are you?’”

“I mean, look at the stuff I put out and the stuff Harry puts out. Polar opposite,” Payne exclaims. “I’m like the anti-Christ version of what Harry is.”

He is specifically asked about Styles’ big trousers. Payne replies, “I couldn’t put myself in that. I’d look f**king… it’d look weird.”
