Virgin founder Sir Richard Branson and CEO Jason Felts announced Virgin Fest, a new music festival scheduled for June 6 and 7 in Los Angeles. A presser describes it as “a diverse lineup of talent, cutting edge technology and an unwavering commitment to people and planet.”

“My love of music led me to start Virgin Records nearly five decades ago. I’m thrilled that Virgin’s musical heritage lives on through Virgin Fest,” Branson said. He described Los Angeles as a “place that has always been very near and dear to my heart.”

The event will take place across multiple stages throughout Exposition Park. Virgin looks to merge both outdoor and indoor festival elements for Virgin Fest.
