Hugh Grant has spoken about that famous “Love Actually” dance scene, calling it “absolute hell” in an upcoming TV special.
Grant discussed the much-loved Christmas movie alongside Colin Firth and Richard Curtis for “Hugh Grant: A Life on Screen”, which is set to air in the U.K. on the BBC Dec. 23.

Grant, who played prime minister David in the flick, moaned about the scene in question in a clip shared by Variety.
He insisted, “I thought, That’s going to be excruciating, and it has the power to be the most excruciating scene ever committed to celluloid.”
Firth added, “I do remember him making a terrible fuss about the dance.”

The scene ended up being one of the most-talked-about bits of the movie, with Curtis joking that Grant turned out to be pretty good because of his “dirty behaviour in discos across London.”
