Solange Knowles is getting her film on.
The talented singer has released the extended director’s cut of her interdisciplinary performance art film on digital platforms. The film was made in conjunction with Knowles’ fourth studio album When I Get Home.
“The film is an exploration of origin,” according to the film’s description, as released by Sony Music Entertainment. “Asking the question how much of ourselves do we bring with us versus leave behind in our evolution.”
When I Get Home was released on March 1. Knowles first premiered a version of the extended cut at museums and contemporary institutions all around the world.
She is scheduled to appear on “The Daily Show” with Trevor Noah on Thursday night.
