This week, Judi Dench appeared on “The Graham Norton Show” and talked about working with Elba on the musical movie “Cats”, revealing that she joked with him about playing the iconic spy character.

“I knew he was up for it,” Dench, who played M in the “Bond” series, told Norton. “In ‘Cats’ I had the line to him, ‘You’ll never get to the Heaviside Layer’.

“But during rehearsals I said, ‘You’ll never get to MI6.′”

Despite her joke to Elba, Dench added, “But I think he might.”
