Netflix is taking on the world’s most famous vampire with the streaming service’s upcoming miniseries “Dracula”.

In a newly released teaser, “The Burnt Orange Heresy” actor Claes Bang stars as the terrifying Count Dracula who is out for blood.

A lot happens in the new trailer, showing the dim and dark 1897 Victorian London and hearing Dracula’s chilling words, “All you have to do is invite me in.”

The story is based on Bram Stoker’s classic, Dracula, and has been crafted into three 90-minute instalments. The series is from “Sherlock” creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss.

ET Canada spoke with Bang about his upcoming role as Dracula during the Toronto International Film Festival. The Danish actor told us how tricky it was to multitask between takes in his costume on set.

John Heffernan, Joanna Scanlan, Dolly Wells, Lujza Richter, Jonathan Aris, Morfydd Clark, Catherine Schell, Youssef Kerkour and Clive Russell also star.

This take on “Dracula” is a joint Netflix-BBC production, with BBC One debuting a slightly different trailer, with Bang announcing: “I’m undead, I’m not unreasonable.”

“Dracula” hits Netflix on Jan. 4.
