The entire Smith family joined Jada Pinkett-Smith’s “Red Talk Table” for an “emergency meeting.”

Will and Jada were joined by Willow, Jaden and Trey and Adrienne Banfield-Jones for the episode, but before it even started Jaden expressed that he wasn’t sure if he wanted to speak about his health after a previous episode resulted in him being bombarded by fan questions.

“I don’t know what’s gonna be said and I don’t want people coming up to me, ‘Your bowels! Your iron levels, man!'” he said.

After everyone finally agreed that they would go ahead, Dr. Mark Hyman joined the family.

“The bad news: You got stuff,” Dr. Hyman told them. “The good news is it’s all fixable.”

Some of their issues included genes that make them susceptible to being diabetic, they also have “sugar-craving genes,” are lactose intolerant and the majority of them have a “leaky gut.”

“You all have gut issues,” he added, about the condition when toxins leak through the intestinal wall, “but all that is so fixable.”

Will was told to eat less “crap” and Jaden was told gluten and dairy are “big problems” for him, but Jada received the most shocking result.

The doctor explained to her that her stomach issues are coming from a parasite and are causing gas, indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome. Luckily, there is a medication to solve it.

Overall, Dr. Hyman suggested that they all cut out processed food. “If it was made in a plant, don’t eat it,” he added.

Instead a vegetable-rich diet, as well as vitamins, supplements and probiotics, was suggested.
