After spending decades as one of Hollywood’s most beloved movie stars, Jack Nicholson has receded from the spotlight to enjoy a well-earned retirement.
Nicholson was once a fixture at L.A. Lakers games, but hasn’t attended a game since January 2019, leading fans to speculate on the 82-year-old Oscar winner’s health.
However, the actor’s grandson, Duke Nicholson, just gave his first interview to The Hollywood Reporter, and had a health update to share about his famous grandfather.

“He’s doing great,” Duke tells THR. “He’s 100 per cent.”
As for Duke’s parentage, he’s the daughter of Jennifer Nicholson, 56, and retired pro surfer Mark Norfleet; he’s named after legendary Hawaiian surfer Duke Kahanamoku.
While he’s considered an up-and-comer, THR notes that the 20-year-old model and actor only has two significant credits so far; a small role as “a creepy carny” in Jordan Peele’s “Us” and posing with Lana Del Rey on the cover of her latest album, Norman F**king Rockwell.
