Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have been exceptionally quiet about their relationship. In the three years they have been dating the two haven’t been spotted on a red carpet together, spoken much about their private life or been photographed together more than a handful of times.
The only glimpse into their life has been what Swift has written in songs. Her songs “Cornelia Street” and “London Boy” off Lover are reported to be about Alwyn.

But for one of the first times, the actor has answered questions about dating the Grammy award-winning artist.
While speaking to The Times about his role in “A Christmas Carol”, things turned to Swift and he if minds that she writes about him.
“No, not at all. No. It’s flattering,” Alwyn responded.
Alwyn also expressed that the majority of the reports written by the tabloids about his relationship are false.

“I just don’t pay attention to what I don’t want to pay attention to,” he added. “I turn everything else down on a dial. I don’t have any interest in tabloids. I know what I want to do, and that’s this, and that’s what I am doing.”
The first of the three-part “A Christmas Carol” premieres on BBC One on Dec. 22.
