John Boyega Said ‘You Ain’t Going To Disney+ Me’ When Asked If He Would Bring His ‘Star Wars’ Character To The Platform

If you were hoping to see John Boyega’s Finn on the Disney+ platform in the future, you are out of luck.

The actor who has appeared in a number of “Star Wars” films has said he doesn’t have any interest is reprising his role for television.

Variety asked Boyega if he would return to “Star Wars” which he responded, “In what? You ain’t going to Disney Plus me.”

“I ain’t getting no Disney Plus!” he added. “I’m watching it, though, but I’ll stay in the feature films.”

While Boyega might not be keen on joining the streaming service, “The Mandalorian” is currently very successful. Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi and “Rogue One” star Cassian Andor both have spin-offs in the works as well.

Boyega’s “Stars Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” is currently in theatres.
