Taylor Swift is giving her fans another early Christmas gift.
On Monday, the “You Need to Calm Down” singer posted a behind-the-scenes video to her YouTube channel of the making of her holiday hit, “Christmas Tree Farm”. Fans not only get to see her song-writing process but also how quickly it turned from an idea to an actual song.

“It’s good to document these things,” Swift says in the video. “Twenty-four hour song turn around.”
The video begins with the pop-star talking about her idea for a Christmas song on December 1st and then recording it with producer Jimmy Napes on December 2nd. As we know, it was officially released on December 6th.
Swift also shares the inspiration behind her song, including the fact the she grew up on a Christmas tree farm.

“It’s about how you’re in the city and you’re stressed out and your life is feeling low but in your heart it’s Christmas tree farm,” she says with a laugh.
