Stormzy Slams Media Outlets For ‘Intentionally Spinning’ His Comments On Racism In The U.K.

Stormzy has hit out at media outlets for “intentionally spinning” his comments on racism in the U.K.

The star recently told La Repubblica: “There’s a lot of racism in the country.

“Trying to explain that Britain is a racist country [to a British person] is the most difficult thing ever. They think: ‘No, it’s not. Stormzy, you’re successful. Look at London. There’s loads of black people.’ It’s a more difficult case to fight.”

He also called out British prime minister Boris Johnson in the interview, the Guardian reported.

Despite many praising the article, Stormzy accused some of the media of taking his remarks out of context.

He posted on Twitter Sunday: “All you publications and media outlets that are intentionally spinning my words for some click bait can suck my d**k and please don’t try beg it in the future.”

The comments got everybody talking online, with some agreeing with the musician while others claimed his remarks weren’t necessarily correct.
