Meagan Tandy is loving her new role in “Batwoman”.
The actress, 34, is LaPalme magazine‘s holiday issue cover star and gushed all about her new role as Sophie in the Ruby Rose-led superhero series.
“It’s exciting,” Tandy told the mag of Rose’s portrayal of the LGBTQ+ hero. “Society and television rarely see these portrayals.”
And Sophie is exciting for Tandy to play, “Sophie is so unique and different for me to play due to the simple fact that she is very soft. Tapping into that, and channelling all of what that represents for Sophie has been very challenging.”
She added, “It’s exhilarating because it allows me to utilize my training in acting since the age of 7.”
