Not every trip goes perfectly and Mandy Moore experienced this first hand.
The “This Is Us” actress and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, spent the holidays in Ecuador. Unfortunately, they got sidelined with a severe case of food poisoning.

“Sometimes things don’t go according to plan,” Moore shared online. “For someone slightly Type A (like myself), it’s challenging not to drive myself absolutely crazy when things veer in a different direction.”
“T and I both got knocked out simultaneously with a major bout of food poisoning,” she continued. “We made the tough call to travel home (wow- that wasn’t fun lol) and got back yesterday. We showered and crawled into bed, shells of ourselves.”

Amid all the chaos, Moore left her iPad on the flight home. She reached out to America Air to explain what happened during her “post-food poisoning haze.”
Nonetheless, Moore was fascinated with what little time she had to explore Ecuador: “We absolutely loved our short journey and have already chatted about returning.”
