Paramore’s Hayley Williams has some big news to share with fans, and their reactions have been through the roof.
On Friday, Williams thanked fans for helping her celebrate her 30th birthday, adding an additional paragraph that she cryptically crossed out.
“I’m putting out some music next year. With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I’m going to call my own.” she wrote.

“It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January,” she added.
The prospect of solo material from the Paramore frontwoman sent the Twitterverse into overdrive; check out this sampling of excited tweets that greeted her announcement.
Meanwhile, fans couldn’t help but notice the flower emoji that she included on her post, which some think is meant to represent Petals for Armor, a mysterious online Instagram account and website that appeared out of the blue that appears linked to Paramore.
While some have pointed out that “Petals for Armor” is an anagram for “Last of Paramore,” the actual intent and its association with Williams and Paramore remain a mystery. Hopefully all will be revealed in January.
