WARNING: Spoilers for the season finale of “The Mandalorian” will be discussed, so consider yourself warned.

The season finale of “The Mandalorian” dropped on Friday, and featured cameos from an unexpected duo: Jason Sudeikis and Adam Pally, playing a pair of scout troopers who seized the tiny green creature fans have dubbed Baby Yoda.

The pair are under instructions to bring Baby Yoda — concealed in a bag — to villainous Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), although they don’t know why.

When Baby Yoda begins squirming and squealing, Sudeikis’ trooper gives it a smack — and then does the same thing a second time.

Meanwhile, Pally’s trooper is anxious to get a look at their precious cargo, and finally convinces his partner to open the bag. He reaches into the bag upon seeing Baby Yoda’s adorable face — only to have his finger viciously bitten, leading him to give Baby Yoda an even harder punch.

On Friday, series creator Jon Favreau confirmed that a second season of “The Mandalorian” was on the way, slated to debut sometime in fall 2020.
