Billie Joe Armstrong isn’t a fan of Donald Trump.
Armstrong discussed the president for “approximately 10 seconds” during a 45-minute interview with Kerrang! However, he did say Trump gave him diarrhea during the short time he did speak about him.
The band were talking about their upcoming album Father of All Motherf**kers, with Armstrong insisting there were no token mentions or references to the POTUS.
The frontman told the magazine, “I draw no inspiration from the president of the United States, because he’s just… there’s nothing. Trump gives me diarrhea, you know? I don’t want to write a song about it!”

Green Day do address their unsettled country in the track “Bulletproof Backpack”, which samples Joan Jett’s “Do You Wanna Touch Me”.
Armstrong said of the song, “It’s sort of about being freaked out around the polarization that we live in right now, whether it’s kids getting shot in schools, or the closest thing that America has ever seen to fascism.”
