Angelina Jolie took two of her kids to meet Ethiopia’s first female president, Sahle-Work Zewde, this week.
Jolie brought her daughters Shiloh, 13, and Zahara, 14, who was born in the African country, along for the meeting.
Her 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne joined the actress on the family trip, but didn’t meet the president. They’re thought to be staying in the country for New Year’s Eve.

According to People, the group spoke about things like education and how they they can help girls continue their schooling while menstruating. They tend to stay home due to lack of supplies.
Discussions were also said to have included Ethiopian culture, history and Jolie’s efforts to treat drug-resistant tuberculosis.
Jolie previously told People that her kids didn’t want to be actors, and were instead interested in things like “business” and “humanitarian affairs.”
