It’s going to be a bright new decade for Julianne Hough.
On Tuesday night, the 31-year-old co-hosted NBC’s live New Year’s Eve broadcast, taking the stage with a crew of backup dancers to perform.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Hough opened up about making her long-awaited music comeback and all she’s looking forward to in 2020.
“To be able to start the new year with this performance after taking a break from music for the past 10 years felt like a dream come true,” she wrote. “I feel grateful. I feel alive. I feel open and READY for all that 2020 has in store. Bring it on.”

Hough released her last single “Is That So Wrong” in 2010, though she has appeared in movie musicals like “Footloose” and “Rock of Ages”, as well as playing Sandy in “Grease: Live” in 2016.
In September, Hough performed her first new song in almost a decade, “Transform”, during the season 14 finale of “America’s Got Talent”.
