Drew Barrymore is taking us behind the ‘gram after Cameron Diaz shared a throwback pic of the two stars.
On Wednesday, Barrymore took to Instagram to share a throwback paparazzi photo of herself and “Charlie’s Angels” co-star Diaz walking side-by-side down the street with champagne in hand.
With their early 2000s fashion choice on display, Barrymore explained in the caption that the pair were on their way to the 2003 premiere of “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle” when paps snapped the pic.

“It was the NYC premier [sic] of ‘Charlie’s Angels 2’ and I had hired an old school bus with Christmas lights and hanging rubber chickens to take us there!,” Barrymore wrote in the Instagram caption. “And I was like ‘trust me! This is going to be so fun to show up in!'”
But good ideas don’t always pan out.
Barrymore says the bus began “smoking from the hood” before breaking down blocks away from the theatre.

The duo walked the rest of the way to the premiere “but not before I grabbed the champers and said, ‘well this is good too.'”
Barrymore, Diaz and fellow “Angel” Lucy Liu have remained good friends over the years, with the actress adding they’re “all still peas in a pod.” Last year, the trio reunited to support Liu as she was honoured on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
