Makeup mogul and YouTube personality Jeffree Star reportedly earned $17 million from his YouTube videos in 2019, and on Friday he revealed how he’d spent a big chunk of it — $14.6 million, to be exact.
That’s how much Star, 34, reportedly paid for his new 25,000-square-foot L.A.-area mansion, which he showed off in all its bonkers glory.
In the video, Star and boyfriend Nathan Schwandt give fellow YouTubers Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams a tour of the eight-bedroom, 13-bathroom abode, which includes such features as a gaming room, a three-storey glass elevator, a gym, spa, a sauna, 16-car garage and a 5,400-square-foot barn that Star wants to transform into a beauty studio.

In the video, Star marvels at how much his life has changed within the past few years.
“Now, I woke up this morning, and — can we get deep for a second? — I sobbed,” Star says. “I cried happy tears this morning because it has been such a crazy journey getting here, and I think sometimes people only see the success or the rewards. But on a real level, six years ago I had $500 to my name.”
He adds: “I’m proud that I’m self-made. I’m proud that I’ve gotten this far on my own. And when I quit music, I literally had about $400-plus left. It was me, [dogs] Diva and Diamond in my apartment, and I had dreams of starting a makeup line.”
Other unique features of the home include a massive wine cellar, ginormous swimming pool and sprawling master bedroom with a luxurious ensuite bathroom, highlighted by what Star describes as a “10-person orgy shower.”
The proud homeowner also issues a warning to his new neighbours: “At the end of the day, you know, we are in a gated community,” he explains. “If you’re living here, please leave me alone. My dogs hate when people are driving by.”
