Ludacris and his family officially hold dual citizenship in the African Nation of Gabon.

The rapper, 42, took to Instagram to share the exciting news with fans, reveal his request to become a citizen of Gabon had finally been approved.

“Starting my new year off with dual citizenship 🇬🇦,” he wrote. “AFRICA, I’M OFFICIAL!”

He later added that both his children and his wife, Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, are official citizens too, calling it, “The best gift of the decade.”

And on Friday, Ludacris and family headed to Gabon on a helicopter. “Now that I’m an official citizen of Gabon, I travel the country a little different,” he captioned his post.
