Adam Sandler has been at the top of his game for decades, but there are still some aspects of acting that make him uncomfortable.
Sandler admits he dislikes shooting romantic scenes in the Best Performances cover issue of W Magazine. Jennifer Aniston has proclaimed Sandler to be a great kisser, but that has not done much to boost his confidence.

“Even if I was not great at that, she would try to protect me,” Sandler says. “I’m never excited for romantic scenes, but my wife loves the women I work with. She’s always saying, ‘Come on, make sure you kiss the best way you can.’”
Sandler, 53, also touches on what it means to be described as “relatable” to other men: “That’s good to know. I’ve heard from guys some stuff like that. I’ve heard from some women, ‘You remind me of my brother.'”

Sandler starred in 2019’s crime thriller “Uncut Gems” and some critics have described it as one of his greatest performances ever. Nonetheless, it was his comedy chops that carved him a path to stardom.
“As a kid, I enjoyed screaming stuff out at a movie theatre and getting a laugh,” he reflects. “I always liked to be a fool, I guess. But I never really thought about this being my job until around 17 when I was applying to colleges. My brother said, ‘Maybe you should be a comedian.’”
