Kylie Minogue can’t stand to see her home country burning up.

In a post on Twitter, the singer expressed her heartbreak at the devastating bushfires spreading across Australia.

She also announced that her family have donated $500,000 toward firefighting efforts.

Minogue is one of many celebrities who are donating to help Australia, including P!nk and Nicole Kidman, who each announced they are donating $500,000 to the effort.

Many celebrities at Sunday night’s Golden Globes also spoke out about the situation in Australia, as well as the need for action on climate change.

Russell Crowe, who won an award at the ceremony, couldn’t accept the prize in person as he was back in Australia with his family. He sent a powerful message that was read at the awards show, telling the world, “Make no mistake, the tragedy unfolding in Australia is climate change-based.”
