Gina Rodriguez stars in the new Disney+ trailer for “Diary of a Future President”. The series visits U.S. President Elena Cañero-Reed, who digs up her old diary documenting her journey from middle school to the oval office.
Tess Romero plays the 12-year-old version of the Cuban-American U.S. President. Rodriguez also serves as an executive producer on the series. Charlie Bushnell, Selenis Leyva and Michael Weaver star alongside Romero.

“Diary of a Future President” premieres Jan. 17 on Disney+ and will air weekly.
