Beyoncé And Jay-Z Left Kate McKinnon Speechless At The Golden Globes: ‘They’re The King And Queen Of America’

Kate McKinnon reveals her love for Beyoncé and Jay-Z as she chats to Ellen DeGeneres about the Golden Globes on Tuesday’s show.

McKinnon, who presented DeGeneres with the Carol Burnett Award at Sunday’s ceremony, explains how she “blew it” when Bey and Jay-Z were seated at their table.

She gushes, “They’re the king and queen of America. They were unbelievably gracious. But [when] my sister and I found out that they were gonna be at our table, we started panicking and making a list like, ‘What can we say?’

“We live in one bedroom apartments in New York City, what can we say? Do you use Hello Fresh? What kind of a milk do you like to drink?

“I just pretended I had something on my pants.”

McKinnon also talks about when she wrote her speech introducing DeGeneres to the stage, as well as revealing how much the talk-show host means to her.
