Royals fans hoping to watch Princess Beatrice’s wedding coverage on TV will be left disappointed.
U.K. channels ITV and BBC have both confirmed they will not be broadcasting live coverage of the upcoming nuptials.
Beatrice, who is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, is set to tie the knot with property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi this year.
According to the Independent, the BBC announced over the weekend that it wouldn’t be shunning normal programming to air the wedding, instead providing “news coverage” of the royal’s big day.
ITV also said they “definitely won’t” be covering the ceremony in their daytime schedule.
According to Hello!, a spokesperson said: “ITV will be reporting on the wedding within our ITV News programs.”
The news comes after Beatrice announced her engagement in September. She has yet to confirm a date or any further details about the wedding.
The big days of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank were all given major TV time.
