Kylie Jenner is doing her part to aid those battling bushfires in Australia by donating $1 million.
Since June 2019, the Australian bushfire season has destroyed millions of acres, destroyed more than 2,500 and caused 27 fatalities. Hollywood’s biggest and brightest are bringing attention to the cause, and Jenner joins those who have donated money.

The donation comes after the Kylie Cosmetics mogul faced scrutiny online. The criticism came after Jenner posted a photo wearing mink fur slippers while simultaneously raising awareness about the death toll of animals in Southern Australia.
Jenner has since deleted the post and an insider told People there were no ill-intentions.

“That post was completely unintentional,” the insider said. “Kylie stands behind her desire to want to help provide relief towards the devastation the fires have caused.”
Other stars who have made significant donations include Chris Hemsworth, Kylie Minogue, Shawn Mendes, and Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.
