Leonardo DiCaprio’s environmental foundation Earth Alliance is the latest celebrity-backed group to help fight the Australian bushfires.
The group released a statement on Thursday announcing a $3-million donation as part of the “international response to the catastrophic bushfires.”
The funds will “assist critical firefighting efforts in New South Wales, aid local communities most affected by the wildfires, enable wildlife rescue and recovery, and support the long term restoration of unique ecosystems.”
