Rumours continue to swirl about what’s going on behind the gilded gates of Buckingham Palace following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s unprecedented announcement that the couple would be stepping back from their royal duties and split their time between Britain and North America.
While the fallout continues to evolve, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a return to social media, offering a low-key post that sidesteps the controversy unleashed from their previous Instagram post.

On Friday, the Duke and Duchess shared a series of photos taken from the couple’s visit earlier this week to The Hubb Community Kitchen, founded by a group of women offering to cook meals for those displaced by the horrific Grenfell Tower fire in 2017.
“The Duke and Duchess were so happy to reconnect with the women and hear about the projects they continue to develop to help those in their community and beyond,” read the photo caption.
The new post comes just two days after the couple’s previous post, announcing plans to “step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”
The couple also shared their intention to “balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.”
Meanwhile, The Hubb Community Kitchen is clearly an endeavour that’s close to the heart the Duke and Duchess; in early December they shared some throwback photos from their visit there in December 2018.
