Mark Hamil is speaking out against Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook.

On Sunday, the “Star Wars” legend took to Twitter to voice his concerns about Facebook and its creator, announcing that he would be deleting his account on the social media platform.

Hamil stated that the reason behind his decision was based on Zuckerberg allowing political advertisements as well as propaganda on the website.

“So disappointed that #MarkZuckerberg values profit more than truthfulness that I’ve decided to delete my @Facebook account,” he wrote. “I know this is a big “Who Cares?” for the world at large, but I’ll sleep better at night. #PatriotismOverProfits”

In the tweet, Hamil also linked to an article by New York Times which outlined the Facebook CEO’s decision to double down on users’ freedom of expression.

The actor’s Twitter followers seemed pleased by his choice to cut ties with Facebook.

Mark Hamil is the latest in a number of celebrities taking a stance against Zuckerberg. In November, Sacha Baron Cohen penned an op-ed for the Washington Post about social media regulation.
