New Trailer, Premiere Date Unveiled For Season 2 Of ‘Black Monday’

Get ready to head back to the 1980s with the return of “Black Monday”, delving into the events that led to the biggest stock market crash in Wall Street history.

The first season of the Showtime season followed Maurice “Mo” Monroe (Don Cheadle) as he and his group of outsiders took on the Wall Street old-boys club, leading to an unintended chain of events that led the stock market to plummet and left two people dead.

“This season focuses on the aftermath,” explains the synopsis for the upcoming second season.

“As we begin, Dawn (Regina Hall) and Blair (Andrew Rannells) are the bosses now, quickly learning that heavy is the head that wears the crown, especially when that head is constantly looking over its shoulder for Mo, who’s on the run with Keith (Paul Scheer),” the synopsis continues. “Who will go down for the crash? Who will go down for the murders? Who will go down for fleecing Mo? All will be revealed in season two.”

The new season kicks off on Sunday, March 15.
