Gigi Hadid Seen Leaving Court After Being Called As Potential Juror In Harvey Weinstein Trial

Gigi Hadid was seen leaving court Monday as it was reported she’d been called for jury duty in the Harvey Weinstein trial.

According to Variety, Hadid told Justice James Burke that she had met the disgraced filmmaker, but could remain fair.

The supermodel also confirmed she’d met Salma Hayek, who previously accused Weinstein of sexual harassment in a powerful New York Times op-ep piece back in 2017.

Hadid, who is one of more than 100 potential jurors, said: “I think I’m still able to keep an open mind on the facts.”

One potential juror has already told the judge she “could not be fair” to Weinstein due to a friend having an “encounter” with him, while another said they couldn’t be fair having read the Ronan Farrow book Catch and Kill.

More charges against Weinstein were reported earlier this month.

He’s now being charged with raping one woman and sexually assaulting another in separate incidents over a two-day period in 2013.

Weinstein faces five counts of rape and sexual assault and could serve the rest of his life in prison if convicted.
