One of the daughters of William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman will be following in her parents’ footsteps.
According to Us Weekly, Sophia Macy, the couple’s eldest daughter, has landed a role in the upcoming second season of “The Twilight Zone”, Jordan Peele’s revival of the iconic anthology series for the CBS All Access streaming service.
During Sunday’s CBS All Access presentations during the Television Critics Association press tour, the streaming service announced the stars of the second season of “The Twilight Zone”.
In addition to Macy, 19, stars this time around will include Morena Baccarin, Colman Domingo, Ethan Embry, Jenna Elfman, Tavi Gevinson, Tony Hale, Abbie Hern, Gillian Jacobs, Joel McHale, Chris Melon, Billy Porter, Jimmy Simpson, and Daniel Sunjata.
News of Macy’s casting comes months after her mother was released from jail after serving 11 days of her 14-day sentence, after pleading guilty to paying a $15,000 bribe to boost Sophia’s SAT scores.
“I accept the court’s decision today without reservation. I have always been prepared to accept whatever punishment Judge Talwani imposed,” the former “Desperate Housewives” star said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time of her guilty plea. “I broke the law. I have admitted that and I pleaded guilty to this crime. There are no excuses or justifications for my actions. Period.”
Huffman was spotted doing community service at the Teen Project in Los Angeles on Sunday.
