If Eminem is not going to respond to Nick Cannon’s disses, Eminem fans surely will.
December headlines were dominated by the reignited rap feud between Eminem and Cannon. The “Lose Yourself” rapper fired the first shot with a diss verse on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above”. Cannon replied with three efforts: “The Invitation,” “Pray for Him,” and “Canceled: Invitation”.
Eminem did not respond to any of Cannon’s songs, except for a pair of dismissive tweets. Cannon definitely generated responses, however, from Eminem’s fanbase.
Cannon took a dig at Eminem’s fans in his new song “Used to Look Up to You”. It is featured on his new mixtape, The Miseducation of the Negro You Love to Hate.
“N****s out here tweetin’ like they been a savage,” Cannon raps. “D**k ridin’ lil Marshall Mathers/Had to put on my turban like I’m Aladdin/N****s out here cappin’, Black Lives Matter.”
Believe it or not, Eminem fans did not take a liking to Cannon’s latest effort.
The artwork for Cannon’s new mixtape was inspired by the works of Carter G. Woodson and Ice Cube.
