Brooks & Dunn are back, baby.
The country music duo have announced their first tour in more than a decade. The announcement is a sigh of relief for fans who were disappointed by the musical act’s retirement in 2009. Brooks & Dunn announced the new tour on their website.
“The memories of playing live are what have kept the fire burning for us,” Kix Brooks said in a statement on the band’s website. “Performers who have had the kind of nights like we’ve had with our fans, can never really let that go.”
“Live is where we’re most at home, and it’s gonna feel good to be back in the saddle, let’s rodeo!” he exclaimed. “We’ll see y’all out there on the trail.”
The “REBOOT 2020” tour draws inspiration from their 2019 critically acclaimed duets album, Re-Boot.
The U.S. tour kicks off in St. Louis, Missouri, on May 15 and wraps up in Chicago, Illinois, on Sept. 19.
