Nicole Kidman is hopeful for more “Big Little Lies”.
The actress joined her “The Undoing” cast, Hugh Grant and Noma Dumezweni, creator/writer David E. Kelley and director Susanne Bier on the TCA stage Wednesday, and chatted about a possible third season of the hit HBO series.
But while the entire cast and crew would love to make more “BLL”, everyone is very, very busy.
“I don’t think we’d ever get Laura [Dern] back!” she laughs, while mentioning Zoe Kravitz will also be busy with the upcoming “Batman”.
“Everyone’s working,” she later added. “Hopefully we can collide again at one point.”
But despite no set future for “BLL”, Kidman will return to the small screen with HBO for the “The Undoing”.
Kidman stars as Grace Sachs, married to Grant’s character, a successful therapist and a devoted wife and mother. But when a violent death, a missing husband in the place of a man Grace thought she knew, Grace’s life is flipped upsidedown.
“The Undoing”, based on the novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz, also stars Noah Jupe, Donald Sutherland, Edgar Ramirez, Lily Rabe, Ismael Cruz Cordova and Matilda De Angelis.
