Camila Cabello Takes A Stand For 2019 vs. 1999 In Musical Riff-Off With James Corden

It’s a riff-off a decade in the making.

On Thursday’s “The Late Late Show”, James Corden suggested they just don’t make music today like they did back in 1999, but thankfully Camila Cabello appeared to defend 2019.

Noting that she has released music in the last year, Cabello challenged Corden to a “Riff-Off”, complete with the Filharmonic a cappella group backing her up.

The singer started with a rendition of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road”, which Corden match by singing Ricky Martin’s “Livin’ La Vida Loca”.

The host followed that up with a performance of Santana and Rob Thomas’ “Smooth” but Cabello had the ultimate answer, singing Shawn Mendes’ “If I Can’t Have You”.

Admitting defeat, Corden joins Cabello for a duet of her own hit “Señorita”.
