Vienna Life Ball Brings Glitz And Glam

By Craig Macrae.

Adam Lambert took over Vienna, Austria for this year’s Life Ball – Europe’s largest fundraising party in support of HIV and AIDS awareness.

Being an American Idol vet and global superstar, it was almost a no-brainer that Adam brought out his glitz and glam, not to mention his song writing skills. Teaming up with organizers to co-write the 2013 theme song – “Love Wins Over Glamour”;.

“I think the idea of the song is trying to say, you know, inspire donors,”; he told Sangita Patel on the fuchsia carpet. Elaborating on his role he added, “I went into the studio two months ago and helped tweak it and co-write parts of it, we had a really good time.”;

“It is a fundraiser, trying to inspire people to give and to remind them that love and connectivity mean a lot more than money and things,”; Adam says. “In the show I am playing Ali Baba and he has 40 thieves after him and if you have seen the thieves outfits, I’m ok with that!”;

Now before Adam was wow’ing the crowds in Vienna, he was runner up on American Idol. In the past few weeks – rumours have been spreading that he might take over one of the judges seats! So, is he the next Simon Cowell?

“I would be like Adam Lambert,”; he says with a laugh. “I think it would be a full circle moment, it would be really cool to go back and of course I would be totally honest and helpful… if they call me I am down.”;

Adam isn’t the only celebrity lending his talent to this year’s Life Ball. Roberto Cavalli teamed up with MINI Cooper to make a one of a kind custom designed Cooper – which ended up selling for 150,000 Euros to benefit the charity!
