David Foster and Katherine McPhee are getting ready to hit the road for his upcoming Hitman tour, and on Saturday the newlyweds appeared in a silly video featuring them rehearsing for the tour.
As McPhee, 25, belts out a tune, Foster, 70, jokingly chides her for “making fun of my song.”
“You’re using me for my talents,” quips McPhee, who will be appearing as a special guest on the tour.
At one point in the video, which McPhee shared on Instagram, she jokes that if she deviates from Foster’s melody she’ll “have to take five per cent.”
“You already got 50 per cent, so…” laughs Foster, turning to the camera to deadpan, “It’s called a prenup,” then adding, “Didn’t include theatrical releases though.”
In the caption, McPhee writes, “We are coming to a city near you starting next week! Come see us, I swear we’re fun.”
Foster and McPhee will start their tour on Jan. 22 with several dates in California before fanning out through the rest of the U.S.
As of now, there are no Canadian dates on the tour.
