Serena Williams isn’t falling for any gotcha questions.
The tennis superstar spoke to the press after her victory in Round 1 at the Australian Open on Monday.

But before any questions about the match, according to CNN, a reporter asked Williams for her thoughts on the current royal drama surrounding Harry and Meghan Markle, and whether she has spoken to Markle recently.
“I have absolutely no comments on anything with that,” Williams replied, before adding. “But good try. You tried. You did good.”

Williams and Markle have been friends for several years, with the new royal frequently supporting Williams, while the tennis player attended Markle’s wedding to Harry in 2018.
