‘Big Brother Canada’ Announces Premiere Date For Highly Anticipated New Season

Global’s “Big Brother Canada” is back for an even bigger season.

The hit reality competition show will return with a two-night season 8 premiere, an hour-long special on ET Canada and new cast.

It all kicks off Sunday, March 4, at 7 p.m. ET/PT, Thursday, March 5, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by the dramatic fallout and possible first eviction on Sunday, March 8, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

“’Big Brother Canada’ is not just one of the biggest shows on Canadian TV – it’s an award-winning leader in producing 360-degree content that seamlessly engages viewers and clients on all platforms,” said Troy Reeb, EVP Broadcast Networks, Corus Entertainment, of the new season. “As we embark on our eighth season of the hit reality series on Global, we’ve created a supersized edition of the franchise to give audiences even bigger thrills.”

Beloved host Arisa Cox will also return.

“Big Brother Canada” will air three times a week, Wednesdays (7 p.m. ET/PT), Thursdays (8 p.m. ET/PT) and Sundays (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Global. While ET Canada’s “Big Brother Canada’s Supersized Season 8 Preview with ET Canada” special will air Sunday, March 1, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Global.

Casting for season 8 wrapped last fall.
