Anna Paquin finally had her say.

On Sunday night, the actress appeared alongside co-stars Ray Romano and Harvey Keitel to introduce their Best Cast nominee “The Irishman”.

Viewers on Twitter were quick to note, though, that Paquin actually spoke more during the presentation than she did in the Oscar-nominated film.

Paquin plays the older version of Peggy Sheeran, Robert De Niro’s character Frank Sheeran’s daughter, in “The Irishman” -speaking only a few lines during the entire three-and-a-half-hour feature.

The lack of lines for her character got the movie some backlash when it was released last year, but Paquin took to Twitter at the time to defend her role in the film.
