Awkwafina Stars In ‘Nora From Queens’, A Comedy Based On Her Life

Awkwafina is coming to a television near you.

Fresh off her historic Golden Globes win, the actress is starring in “Awakafina is Nora from Queens” a take on an Asian-American family that is based on her own life.

In the clip, Nora (Awkwafina) is talking with her dad Wally (B.D. Wong) as she tells him she isn’t ready to move out of the house despite her earlier thoughts.

“You clung on to her uterus like the Thing,” Wally responds referencing when Nora’s mom gave birth. “It was so gross, man. I threw up on the nurse.”
