PARTYNEXTDOOR has just unveiled a new video that uses Claymation-style animation in a far different way from those Saturday morning animated series of yesteryear.
Directed by William Child, the video features a group of gigantic warrior women who have seized control of Toronto, marauding through the city the way Godzilla levelled Tokyo.
It’s up to PARTYNEXTDOOR to lead a heroic rescue mission to save Toronto from the invasion, which has apparently been going on for some time.
While previous rescue missions failed, PARTYNEXTDOOR takes a different strategy, which involves cozying up to the giantesses and even taking a puff on one of their monster-sized reefers.
“Loyal” will be part of PARTYNEXTDOOR’s forthcoming album, which he’s been working on for years. In fact, in 2017 he took to Twitter to explain that he’s been taking his time to make sure it comes out right.
While there’s no official release date for the album, an Instagram post from Drake’s OVO Sound account last year indicated fans could be seeing it sometime this month.
