Ontario-born spouses Robbie Amell and Italia Ricci will be getting new passports, with Amell announcing the pair are now officially American citizens.
On Thursday, Amell — who’s appeared in such TV series as “The Flash” and “A Series of Unfortunate Events” — revealed the news via Instagram Story.
“3866 people from 116 different countries became American citizens today,” Amell, 31, wrote in the caption accompanying a photo of a large American flag hanging behind a stage.

“@italiaricci and I were two of them,” he added. “Today was awesome.”
Amell and Ricci (whose credits include “Designated Survivor” and “Supergirl”) were wed in 2016, and in September 2019 welcomed their first child.

“Today we welcome Robert Amell V into the world,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing the first photo of the couple’s son, “but also find out that being triple extra pregnant increases your odds of birthing Gollum.”
