Alicia Keys is getting a little bit country with the help of Maren Morris.
In the latest edition of “CMT Crossroads”, Keys and Morris team up for a genre-crossing duet on the former’s “No One”, adding a bit of a country spin to the 2007 hit.
The pair also blended their glorious harmonies for a cover of Key’s 2012 track “Girl on Fire”.
If the pair seem comfortable performing together, it shouldn’t be surprising given that they duetted at the 2017 Grammy Awards, delivering a fiery performance of Morris’ “Once”.
In fact, their Grammy team-up was the result of an earlier joint performance on “CMT Crossroads”.

Following their first “Crossroads” appearance, Morris spoke with Grammy.com about the “sage advice” she received from Keys.
“She’s a songwriter as well and she started so young as well, so I feel like we have a lot more in common than you’d think,” she said. “She just said, ‘With all the stuff in the first year, it’s go, go, go, but take the time to really celebrate your success, because it’s so easy to move on to the next thing and keep chasing this crazy dream. But if you don’t celebrate it and take a second to stop and really let it soak in, it passes by like that.'”
