ITV has issued an apology over Jonathan Ross’s recent “Masked Singer UK” remarks.

Ross sparked outrage on social media after suggesting a celebrity dressed as Daisy, later revealed to be Kelis, was Natalie Cole.

However, Cole died in 2015 at age 65.

ITV said, according to the BBC: “This was a genuine mistake by the panel. We apologise if this caused any upset to viewers.”
