Lewis Capaldi may be a star but apparently not everyone recognizes him.

On Sunday, the Scottish “Someone You Loved” singer attended the 2020 Grammys, where he was nominated for Song of the Year.

But as he shared on Twitter, at least one woman wasn’t actually aware of who he was:

Capaldi ended up losing the award to Billie Eilish, who also won the New Artist of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year awards.

Speaking to People on Friday before the awards, Capaldi had said, “I’m not going to win the Grammy; it’s cool. It’s not the end of the world.

“I’m completely okay with it. Even when we got the nomination, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s amazing, we’ll get to go and see Billie Eilish.’ I haven’t written a speech because I won’t need to use it. But no, whoever wins — whether it’s Billie or Lizzo or Lady Gaga or whoever — I’ll be there cheering them on.”
